A place to explore how political life works.
The centre explains political and social structures and decision-making processes. Its scope extends from Sachsen through Germany and Europe to global connections. The aim is to help people make informed judgments and participate in democracy.
The current administrative regulation requires nonpartisan work. That means it does not campaign for a particular party. At the same time, the institution is committed to the values of the free democratic constitutional order. Nonpartisanship therefore does not mean indifference towards democracy.

The other three answers
Other institutions may discuss politics, but have different main responsibilities.
at the municipal regulatory office
The public-order office carries out municipal regulatory duties. It is not the specialist institution for general civic education sought here.
at the churches
Churches can discuss social and political questions. The catalogue question targets the specifically commissioned state centre, rather than churches as a general answer.
at the consumer advice center
The consumer advice centre deals with consumer issues. The state centre is the appropriate answer for general civic education.
Information supports independent judgment.
The centre does not decide which party you should vote for. Its mission explicitly includes the capacity for independent judgment, decision and action. Examining reasons and sources is therefore a useful part of learning.
The question does not say that only this institution may provide political information. Other organisations also work in civic education. Among the four options, however, the state centre directly matches the described mission.
Mission · Saxon State Centre for Civic Education ↗Civic education → state centre; independent judgment → your goal.
Remember what the institution does, rather than only its long name.
