An electoral term belongs to parliament.
The Landtag consists of elected representatives. Among its functions are passing state laws and the budget and scrutinising the state government. Its electoral term defines the regular period for which voters elect this representative body.
The current constitution checked still contains the five-year rule. It also provides that the term ends when the new Landtag meets. “Five years” is therefore the rule required here, rather than instructions for calculating the next election date by simply adding years to a date.

The other three answers
Only one offered number describes the current rule.
3
Three years is not Sachsen-Anhalt’s regular parliamentary term. Early termination does not change the basic rule.
4
Four years is not the current constitutional rule here. Do not transfer a familiar term from another election to this Landtag without checking.
6
Six years is also not the specified regular duration. The correct number is five.
Early termination remains a regulated exception.
Under Article 60, two thirds of the Landtag’s members can end the term early. Further constitutional procedural rules apply. That exception does not make the answer 5 arbitrary.
The five years neither guarantee that a coalition remains unchanged nor define every minister’s fixed personal term of office. Distinguish parliament, government and individual government members.
Article 43 · Constitution of Sachsen-Anhalt ↗Sachsen-Anhalt Landtag → normally five years.
The question concerns the electoral term, rather than the name or time in office of the head of government.
